Our good pal Sandy had a sick kid this week!!! So instead of copping out which we both desperately wanted to do, these two meatballs met at Fitness Connection and kicked our own asses for once!!!




So many fails…then we turned the corner and there was a huge mirror…dumb!!!

Our warm up today was 5 minutes on the treadmill at 15 incline and 2-2.5 speed…climb that mountain girls!


Then we did a back and bi’s day…we did a back pull down machine and alternated with wall sits. 12 reps of the machine and 30 seconds of wall sits for 8 rounds…tabatas are back!




Then back to the treadmill…incline 15 speed 2-2.5 for 3 minutes…what a fucking hike…getting over it!


Then we did 8 round tabatas of 10 pound dumbbell bicep curls on one leg…10 reps each round alternating legs.



Then we ran in to my sweet dad!!


JB comes to the gym EVERY single day!!!! My hero!
Onto a back machine and alternating squats…




Then we did back machine and situps alternating for 8 rounds 20 reps each round!




Then back to the treadmill!!! Incline 15 speed 2-2.5…3 minutes…hating this!!!


Then we did oblique ball throw downs alternating with planks for 5 rounds…





Then we finished strong on the treadmill incline 15 speed 2.5 for 5 minutes!!! Death!!!


Sandra, I think you would have been proud!!! We missed you!!!


Then we went and enjoyed a paleo breakfast at Whole Foods…


And some coffee from Starbucks…Jenny’s was NOT right!


So she had to fix it up!!!


This girl likes a milkshake with her coffee! On to Jackassing around!

These past few months have been a struggle…with holidays and our childlike need to constantly reward ourselves we have def gotten a little stuck. It’s like we think we are in maintenance mode when we both have a long way to go! We could not be more excited about partnering with Fleet Feet Raleigh with their Ton of Fun program…but we need something in the meantime! Soooo, in the breakroom at work we were all talking about the Bobbies! For those of you who don’t know, The Bobbies are our company holiday party that happens in late January. We get dressed up to the nines and my boss Joelle and I roast everyone!!! It is the living funnest night of our lives!!!! So the group decided that we would start a team initiative to lose 10 pounds by the Bobbies…just what the doctor ordered. We love a team project and support always helps!!! Here is the group and here is the board and here’s to 10 pounds down by January 24th!!!! #funnnnnnnnnnnnn
