I am Officially the better Beard!!! J/K  but I think I could definitely hang Beard style!!! I had the best time with the Beard gang in Atlantic beach for our Weigh in!!!  So i got in Late Friday night and said hello, drank two beers and passed out!!!!!  Now let the weekend begin!!!

Let me just start by saying these kids are the most fun!!!!  I loved playing with them!!  Thanks for accepting me you guys!!!!  And they are going through a Beatles music stage which is amazing!! Who doesn’t love the Beatles! It was a total sing along every time we got in the car.  duuuhhhhhh my DREAM!!!!!

You guys the Beards don’t play,  They like their water!!!   I thought it was freezing!!!  But i loved watching them play!! They are the most fun!

  

  So I had fun in the sand!!!!

   

 

We had so much Fun that day!!!  I can’t wait to Vacation with The Beards again!!!!  They welcomed me with open arms and I was so sad to leave!  So glad I got to see Sara in her Happy place, Best Weigh in Ever!!!!! I love you Beard’s!!!!!!  Watch out I’ll be back!!!

 

 

Sooooo Unfortunately I did not work out with Sandra today!  Ahhhhhhh we are way too close to weigh in to miss workouts!!! So what is a girl to do?!?!  Workout all by myself I suppose.  I tried to channel my inner Sandra and just be a beast!!

Well now that Im done with that I can move on to the rest of my day!!  I have an idea….I think I need some new clothes!!!  For the most part the fall and winter have been my favorite times to buy clothes.  I love black tights and being covered up.  I guess I felt like I could disguise my fat more easily with more clothing.  Guess what you can’t…. you just look bulkier!! It beat exposing my hungarian arms in the summer.  Well the fall has always reminded me of my Hardy stature!!! (Thanks for that Mary!) These adorable Polish legs were not made for all of these aamazing boots!!!!  Look at these killers!!!!

My family and I always laugh about our strong Polish calfs.  It’s a strong gene!!!!  These were built for heavy hauling!!  I definitely have a love hate relationship with my legs.  I love fashion so much and my legs make it really hard to by high boots.  And every year I set out to find boots that go up my calf!!!

  This is what I always imagine as I go shopping but I never look like this!  I look even shorter and the leather looks so tights on my calf which just makes them look cheaper.  Not to mention Im  a sweaty mess trying to get boots up my leg and equally struggle to get them off!!!  woooof   SO fuck that, I am just going to buy what works for me.  So I got these little booties! And a couple of other things!

   

 So then I got dresses for work.  It is so fall like out right now, and I love it!!!  Makes me want a dark lip!!!!!! MAC’S REBEL!!!!  a fav!

   

I stopped at WHole Foods for some lunch and found this little nugget!!

   Yay something easy!!!  and yummy!!! And then I got to work and noticed everyones boots.  And how different they all were.  Everyone picked boots that worked for them and showed off their personal style.

       

  Everyone is just so stinking cute and different!  Everyone has their own struggle and the struggle is real!  My Polish legs aren’t going to be my struggle anymore.

 

 

 

 

SOoooooooo   I just want to let you guys know how much I love my mom!!  She is the most giving individual in the world.  She is beyond smart and and lives a life full of beautiful relationships and things. I want to be her when I grow up!!!  I am so priviledged to call her mom and lucky enough to see her everyday if I need to. Well it’s Elaine’s Birthday!!  And this family just wants to be together!  OUr love language is Quality Time.  We just want to spend time together! Soooooo We started the Morning off With a visit to Southern Seasons.

      

While we were there my sister (Kitty) was  able to sneak away and register our family up for Mediterranean  Cooking classes!  I love learning new things.  If I can be a better cook that would be fantastic!!! Anything to switch up what I am doing!

Later that afternoon we got back together to have a picnic at the Art museum!

 

 

Look at this adorable couple!!!!  Aaron has been in our lives for 15years!  And he has been the greatest addition! And nothing tickles me more then seeing London and PaPa  crack up together!

And then we got to touch the BUTT!

So fucking cool!

We were walking, looking for a good place for a picnic and then we saw this huge ass!

It was a perfect spot to eat and play.  We played “the 1954” game.  Just a little bit trivia and gifts to entertain us.

After we gave her our gifts it was time for our Wish Lanterns!!  And of course the wind picked up just as we started to light them.

  

And then after sweating my balls off,  We got them into the air!!!!

  these things are kinda challenging in wind on private state property!!!  They were flying straight toward trees in front of the art museum!  Terifying.  But we got them up one at a time and they were beautiful and then it was totally time to go home.  My nervs were shot at this point!!  It was such a fun day.  I love my mom sooo much and hope she has a great birthday!  Thank you for all of your love and support as I constantly try to change and improve my self!  Love you the most!  Next weigh in is almost here ahhhhhhhh!

Hey did you guys know we were paleo?!?!?  Yeah…… It feels so gooooood to get back in the kitchen cooking after my indulgent weekend.  Sooo  what’s on the menu you ask…..hmmmmmmm

Paleo Pesto chicken…Assorted iven roasted veggies and a spinach, beet and pecan salad!!!!!

Welll no surprise here, a little jackassing around before we started working!  Our Favorite part

   

The stale face is the hardest!!!!

So first things first…..lets marinade that chicken for 45mins before cooking!

Chopped basil, parsley, 3 cloves garlic minced, half a teaspoon of salt and a squirt of lemon!!!! The chicken when in to the oven on a shallow pan for 35mins at 350 degrees! While that baked We chopped up some veggies!!!!

    

We have Okra,  which so yummy and a nice texture change!!!   Asparagus, and a bag of pre chopped broccoli, carrots and cauliflower……. So we tossed them in a drizzle of olive oil, half a teaspoon of salt and pepper.  I think the simple things are the best!

Something as an adult that I have totally grown to love are beets.   I was at work one day and ran upstairs to Sara’s office terrified because i was sure i was peeing blood.  And she was so sweet and her first question was did you eat beets?  Like this was a common thing!  OmG the things veggies do to your pee haha!

So i went to whole foods and got beets off of there salad bar.  Because I heard roasting beets was a definite labor of love…..well not tonight it is not!

ingredients:

spinach

chopped pecans

beets

red onion

And we dressed it with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar,  salt and pepper!   delicccccc!!!

Put them in a shallow pan and in the oven at 400 degrees for  30mins while the chicken rests.

   

    

And then we ate it!!!!    You guyyyyss,  I think this was a home run!  so good and a full meal!

       

It felt so good to get some good food back our bodies!  And there was plenty for lunch…….Best lunch evaaa!!!! Get it right get it tight!!!!   I love fooooood!!!  Feed me Semore! yum yum yum!   Twas amazing. Love cooking with my meatball!!!!!

   

 

Ok so it is 6:20am at RDU and London is so pumped for her first flight!!!!   Oh and so is Brandon!!!!! His 2nd flight.

   We had to change after the flight!!!

 

So exciting!!!! We are headed to Greenport NY to celebrate my cousin Susan’s marriage!!!!  Before we got to the wedding we had to stop in Franklin square Ny to visit my 96 year old grandma who hadn’t met London before!!!!  I couldn’t wait together them together.  We all had lunch at my aunt Lorraine’s house. And my cousin Kirstin and her son Dominique were there too!!

 

We were having the best time!

 

But it was time to go and so hard to say goodbye to my sweet grandma!  After that we went for a drive down memory and visited our first home when my sister and I were little!

After two hours driving north we finally got to Greenport  and it was adorable!!!!!!!!   So

we started our weekend off with some Blt Bloody Mary’s!!!!! Delicioussssss!!!! Yeah there is bacon in there! My husbands dream.

And of course we had to get lobster in this fisher mans  town!

 

And then we spent the next day just playing in the cutest fucking town on earth.

 

      London could not get enough of this  carousel!!!

 

  It was a windy sunny 70 degrees! Peeeerrfect!

On to the wedding!!!! It was so much fun seeing fam as usual.  They can be a rowdy bunch!! You know fun loving crazy Italian family!! I’m sure you can imagine. And I totally ate my way through this wedding and this weekend in general.  And it felt so damn  good.  Maybe because I knew I would come home and get back to work.   Or maybe because I felt like I deserved to cut loose a little!!  But it was always on my mind.  And then I just said fuck it I’m going for it.   And my family was so supportive! And are keeping up with blog which is amazing!!!

   

 

 

 

Then  it was time to go and I was in a food coma and starting to fall apart.   But not London she put on a show at the airport! Such a mood booster.

 

 

Brandon and I were both ready to get back home and workout!!! I really missed it and started feeling bloated from all this food.  I was so grateful my body already knows better and wants to be better. This foody weekend was really good for us I think we definitely got any food cravings out of our system!! I’ve never wanted greens so bad.  Not to mention our weigh in is around the corner!  These damn months just fly by, mother bitch! So make every meal count and work out!!i had the best weekend!! Loved seeing my family.  Love you guysssssss! Muahhh
